Open Door came up with the concept for the Christmas decorations in Sheringham town centre. The theme was Pantoland. The Town Clock was clad in wood and decorated to look like a Gingerbread House. A series of friezes were painted on panels depicting scenes from various pantomimes and were displayed above the shops around town. A very successful and original take on Sheringham's Christmas decorations, complimenting the panto season at Sheringham Little Theatre.

Open Door suppors creativity and inventiveness in the young and young-at-heart. Our unit is just one of the places we hold workshops. With larger groups we hire Oddfellows Hall and there is the Stables at the Lobster pub, used as exhibition space.

In 2010 Open Door was in its infancy. Contributions to Sheringham Carnival, Christmas Lights and the Crab & Lobster festival doubled in ambition and scale in 2011. With the adoption of online social media to promote the cause, Open Door is growing in numbers all the time.
